Psychotherapy and psychoanalysis
My Approach
I am a psychotherapist and psychoanalyst in formation in private practice. I see patients both virtually and in-person at my office in the Detroit metro area. My clinical practice is informed by the theory and practice of psychoanalysis, meaning that I am interested in helping you to discover and integrate your full self.
I see my role as a guide, helping you avoid pitfalls and pointing out new possibilities in the process of being you. Looking thoughtfully at where you have been and what you would like to achieve, we can move towards a life where you are better able to cope with the challenges that you face while more authentically expressing yourself.
I have over ten years experience in the mental health field, working in diverse settings such as academia, hospitals and research. Currently I am a member of the Michigan Council for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy and the Chicago Center for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy.
